From Photo to Portrait
I can work from Photographs:
Send at lease 3 clear photos of your pet in the Mail.
Mark each photo for Best::
Pose, Expression, Personality, Coat & Color
A $100 deposit should be included with photos. Photographs will be returned with your finished portrait.
After I receive you order, I will email you a confirmation. If I feel I cannot work from your photos, they will be returned, or, I may ask for additional photos.
I will then send you a pencil sketch, to size for your approval. Note: Pencil is easy to change. This is your time for input.
All portraits are triple-matted and framed ready to hang.
I usually ship via priority mail. The original watercolor will come in a wooden box, with an additional shipping cost of $25-30.
More then one subject can be portrayed within the same picture. You do not have to have several subjects. If you would like to feature one pet, I usually place that pet in the center. If you are combining several subjects you need to look at a rough pencil sketch to see the placement and size.
Completion Time
Completion dates vary, depending on the time of the year. I usually need 2 to 4 months lead time. This allows me to meet a shorter deadline for special occasions.
