I am so please to have the Arbogast painting of a young Arnold. Ch Dickendall Arnold has gone on to become one of the top producers in the breed.

Rod Arbogast made a name for himself by doing beautiful wildlife watercolors, but has recently branched out into the dog world. He can do watercolors of your dog( or dogs) or you can purchase limited edition prints of various breeds, or any of his wildlife prints that are still available.
I personally own many of his wildlife prints and some of the Irish Setter Prints that he has available were done of my dogs. They are so lifelike, you can almost smell the "Puppy Breath" and their eyes follow you around the room! The detail in each print he does is incredible. You can see each individual hair!!

I have known Rod Arbogast for about 20 years now. I was very impressed with his work and purchased a beautiful cougar head study. Later a friend that was visiting knew he lived near by and suggested I call him to do a portrait of my first Norwich Terrier champion. I did so and was thrilled with the result .. my Cub remains young and vibrant on the wall and always evokes deep emotions.
I had Rod paint 6 others for me. Because of his powers of observation and ability to employ them in the characterization of his subjects each one is remarkable. The last painting he did for me was my 2 puppies. He added some daisies, coneflowers and a beautiful butterfly!
I thought this to be so extra special it became the cover of the 2000 Norwich Pedigree book. I recognize his paintings capture real life and attitude in their composition and admire his talents! Rod Arbogast, a wildlife artist and now a friend!
